good morning today is Friday September 16th 2022 congratulations you made it through your first full week of school in today's scripture Saint Paul wrote to the early Christians to instruct them on how to live out the Commandment to love our neighbor a reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians so then putting away falsehood, let all of us speak the truth to our neighbors for we are members of one another be angry but do not sin do not let the sun go down on your anger let no evil talk come out of your mouths but only what is useful for building up as there is need so that your words may give Grace to those who hear put away from you all bitterness, and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander together with all malice and be kind to one another tenderhearted forgiving one another as God in Christ has forgiven you therefore be imitators of God as beloved children and live in love as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God the word of the Lord thanks be to God forgiveness is an Act and a feeling because we can say the words I forgive but Jesus calls us to mean those words in our hearts think about that today when you say the words I forgive you do you really mean it in your heart I would like to say happy birthday today to Adriana in Pre-K and happy birthday to our friends over the weekend Aviana in Pre-K and Oliver in grade 3 have a wonderful weekend be safe and I'll see you in the hallways today
