Robotics Team

Academy of Our Lady hosts a competitive championship robotics team. Our team is affiliated with Don Bosco Prep High School Robotics Program which allows our students to see what the High School  Robotics program is all about, be mentored by students from the school, and participate in practice events on the campus. The High School program competes for millions in college scholarships every year.

The 2018-2019 theme is "Into Orbit"  which is all about space travel.  This season was literally launched via astronauts from the ISS in August.  Our team already has guest speakers in the industry, an Engineer  (AOOL Parent - Peter Quinn) who worked on components on the ISS, and the Chairman of the Space Operations Program at Embry-Riddle University to help inform the team on real world challenges. We meet on Wednesdays after school 3-5pm, and on Sundays 2-5pm.
