good morning today is Friday September 30th 2022 today's reading is from the book of Judith Judith was a Jewish Widow who saved the Israelites from Syrian Army in today's reading she sings the song of praise and thanksgiving to God for the gift of creation today is also the feast day of Saint Jerome who is the patron saint of Scholars Librarians and school children might be a nice day to say a prayer to Saint Jerome a reading from the book of Judith Judith began this Thanksgiving before all Israel  and all the people loudly sang the song of praise and Judith said begin a song to my god with tambourines sing to my Lord with symbols raise to him a new song exalt him and call upon his name I will sing to my God a new song Oh Lord you are great and glorious wonderful and strength Invincible let all your creatures serve you for you spoke and they were made you sent forth your spirit and it Formed them there is none that can resist your voice for the mountain shall be shaken to their foundations with the waters before your glance the rock shall melt like wax but to those who fear you you show Mercy the word of the Lord thanks be to God so we've had an awful lot of reading the last few weeks about this idea of creation it is absolutely meant to show the power of God but I think the other thing we need to think about too is how can we be good stewards and how can we care for the gift of creation whether that means other people the planet our animals, the trees the plants how can you be a good Steward of this gift of creation that God has given us happy birthday to Juliana in grade 6 and Benjamin and Sofia in pre-K please remember to say your morning prayers, Pledge of Allegiance and school Pledge with your class before you start your day this is going to hopefully be the last time you see me on video for morning prayers Next week on Monday October 3rd we start our live morning prayers all together in the church which will be very exciting it is for grades kindergarten through eighth grades and any parents who would like to come are more than invited to join us All students to enter in on the red line and the blue line will come in just on the blue line in the morning and enter in through the Bell Tower and come directly to church our friends to enter in through the green line with either kindergarten brother sisters will come in just as you usually do through the green line in the primary wing and make your way to church as well we look forward to seeing everybody live on Monday have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you in the hallways
