About Pre-K 2

In Pre-K 2, our goal is to enrich each child academically, spiritually and socially.   Academically, we focus on teaching colors, shapes, numbers and letters through the projects we complete and the books we read.  Children start the day in circle time where we review colors, numbers and shapes and mid-way into the school year, we also introduce a letter of the week.  Also during circle time, we talk about the weather, read a book and play a fun song.  We engage in projects that reflect the theme or season. Projects often use items or techniques  that help the children to develop their fine motor skills.  Children also attend music and art class weekly.  Spiritually, we incorporate our Catholic faith throughout each day, saying our morning prayer and prayer before meals, teaching kindness and attending church on special occasions. Socially, we teach important life skills through role modeling, free play and instruction. Our Pre-K 2 class enriches your children in all aspects of their life!
