My name  is Lindsay Cappello, and I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to teach your children. I have been an educator since 2003 and have had the privilege of serving students and families in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, instructional coach, and literacy specialist. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about creating classrooms where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Manhattanville College, my Master of Arts in English from Long Island University, and my School and District Leadership Certificate from Hunter College.

Outside of the classroom, my greatest joy is being a mom to my two wonderful children and a proud dog mom to our French bulldog, Mookie! I love reading, cooking, spending time with my family, and, whenever possible, spending time at the beach.

Since moving to Glen Rock in 2023, my family and I have become active members of St. Catharine Parish. Both of my children serve as altar servers, and I have had the joy of helping lead the Children’s Liturgy and teach the summer CCD program. Being involved in our church community and watching children grow in both their faith and their love of learning is especially meaningful to me.

I believe that connection and engagement are at the heart of meaningful learning. When children feel safe, valued, and comfortable being themselves, they are more willing to ask questions, share their ideas, and discover new things. My goal is to create a classroom where students can have fun, feel supported, and develop a genuine love of learning. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families this year.
