About Ms. Buckman

My name is Ashley Buckman and I am so excited to be teaching third grade this year! This will be my fourth year here at Academy of Our Lady. I previously worked as a paraprofessional in Pre-K 4 and taught second grade last year. Before coming to AoOL, I worked at Ben Samuel’s Children Center in Little Falls while obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Educational Foundations from Montclair State University. I attended a Catholic elementary school and a Catholic high school and I am proud to be starting my teaching career here at Academy of Our Lady.

I believe every child is unique and learns in their own way. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment where my students can flourish and have fun while falling in love with learning. My ultimate goal is to inspire a love of learning and ensure that my students have the skills they need to succeed both now and in their future endeavors. Third grade is such an exciting year, I cannot wait to meet you all and get started!
