Ms. Buckman

My name is Ashley Buckman and I am so excited to be teaching Pre-K 4 this year! This will be my fifth year here at Academy of Our Lady. I previously worked as a paraprofessional in Pre-K 4 before beginning my teaching career in second grade.
 I also had the opportunity to teach third grade, and I am so excited to return to Pre-K 4 this year. 
Before coming to AoOL, I worked at Ben Samuel’s Children Center in Little Falls while obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Educational Foundations from Montclair State University. I attended a Catholic elementary school and a Catholic high school and I am proud to be starting my teaching career here at Academy of Our Lady. 
    I believe every child is unique and learns in their own way. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment where my students can flourish, have fun, and develop a love for learning. My goal is to help my students grow in confidence and independence while making learning fun and exciting. Pre-K 4 is such a special year filled with so much growth and discovery, and I cannot wait to meet you all and get started!
