A typical day in our class
A typical school day for the PreK 3 year olds
8-8:15am Students arrive
8:15-9am Unpack/Prayers/table activities/Circle Time
9-9:30AM Special (Spanish, art, gym, or music)
9:45-10:30 Bathroom, cleanup time, snack and story time
10:30-11:10 Playground/Outdoor bikes and scooters
11:15-12:00PM Lesson and project time, free play
12:05-12:15PM Dismissal
Activities incorporated into the day:
- Weekly alphabet lesson and craft relating to the letter of the week
- Circle time--calendar, counting, weather and various jobs in the classroom
- Songs and dancing
- Story time
- Show and tell based on letter of the week
- Simple science projects, fine motor activities
- Yoga activities
- Religion lessons with daily prayers and blessings as a group
- Birthday celebrations
