My name is Barbara Krug, as a former student of St. Catharine Interparochial School I am happy to be once again at home in Academy of Our Lady. Some of you may remember me as the former physical education teacher and I am delighted to return this year in the position of mental health educator. I am a graduate of Caldwell University and William Paterson University with a Master of Education in Professional Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in a variety of settings with both children and adults with a variety of needs and am very excited about my position here at Academy of Our Lady.
I am a diehard New York Rangers fan and love the New York Giants and Yankees.
During the time of Michael Jordan fans I was all about being a Charles Barkley fan.
I wanted to be a professional hockey player but to this day am still a terrible ice skater.
I am always looking for the next new workout experience most recently I tried an indoor surfing class.
My most prized possession are my roller skates.
Even though I teach healthy choices I do believe chocolate is essential (the dark kind is high in antioxidants) and eat it almost every day.
If I could be in the summer Olympics it would be as a 3 day eventer.
