About Mrs. Kiess

PreK is my passion! Ever since I was a child myself, the littlest learners captivated me.  I received my undergraduate degree in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University and my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Adelphi University.  I was a Pre-K teacher at St. Thomas More in NYC for five years before starting my family.  I was fortunate to be able to be a stay at home mom to my four children until my youngest was in kindergarten.  In 2005, I started teaching Pre-K at Academy of Our Lady.  I consider myself very blessed to have a job that is also my passion.
