I have been teaching for sixteen years after enjoying a career in publishing. For most of my life, in some aspect, I have worked with children. I enjoy sharing and teaching social studies, math, and any type of creative venture with my students, It is my goal to have them discover their special talents and to be the best they can be. I want them to love learning as much as I still do!
I graduated from Skidmore College with a B.A. in Economics with the desire to enter Law School. I preceded to a career in Publishing after accepting a job with a small paperback house. I worked for them for several years and finally accepted a position with Delacourte/Dial books and then Doubleday. Throughout my life I have worked with children. In High School I was a teen member of the A.H.R.C., and during my four years at Skidmore I worked with severely handicapped children. While raising my own children I worked with Special Education students in the Fair Lawn School District for several years. I decided to go back to college and entered the MAT program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I obtained my certification to teach, and ever since have enjoyed the pleasure of being here with the children teaching and helping them to achieve.
