As a follower of Jesus Christ, the Master Teacher, I am committed to quality education in an environment of spiritual, intellectual and moral formation in which faith, culture and life are brought into harmony.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and Early Childhood Education from Caldwell College and a Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration from Seton Hall University. I have served as a Principal in Catholic Education for thirteen years.
It is my belief that each student is created in the image and likeness of God. I believe that intellectual development progresses with age, experience and ability. I am mindful of the necessity of approaching individual needs and differences as the Great Teacher did with kindness, respect, understanding and patience. I believe children are in the process of learning to become part of the whole, while also striving to retain his/her uniqueness.
It is my belief that the Golden Rule is a priceless guide to leadership. The role of Principal not only encompasses competence in areas of curriculum but also a sincere love for children. I look forward to my journey as a part of The Academy of Our Lady school family.
