I am excited to be part of the faculty at AoOL this year! I have a 5th Grade homeroom and teach 5th/6th Grade Language Arts and 5th Grade Reading. Growing up on Long Island, I graduated from St. Kilian’s School and Farmingdale High School. My bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Elementary Education are from Adelphi University.
I taught for 12 years at Harford Day School in Bel Air, Maryland. After taking some time to settle into my new home in Hawthorne, I look forward to getting back into the classroom. Having previous experience teaching in Catholic schools in both New York and Maryland, I am delighted to be joining one in New Jersey. In addition to providing academic rigor and faith foundation, I believe that a Catholic education develops a strong moral compass for students that helps guide them long after graduation. It is my pleasure to be working with your children this year!
