Dear Academy of Our Lady Families,
Catholic Schools Week was a tremendous success thanks to the efforts of Ms. Clemente, all faculty & staff members, SAB, HSA & all parents and our students! The parish community was impressed with our Mass participation. Prospective parents at the Open Houses commented on how well behaved and welcoming our students are. Students were delighted with special activities last week, in particular the themed dress days and the magician show. Teachers were pleased that the classes were able to spend time with their prayer partners. Anyone who walked through the halls last week felt the camaraderie that Academy is proud of.

Many thanks to Duane Wunsch and the Fathers Guild for coordinating yet another Beefsteak Dinner/Auction. I know all attendees enjoyed themselves. Many thanks to those of you who supported the school's ongoing STEM initiative.
I invite you to Academy's STEM Fair, Thursday, February 9 in Community Hall from 6:30 - 8 pm. New this year: the 7&8 Graders worked on teams to solve practical worldwide problems and students from local high schools will serve as judges. Please see Mrs. Treuer if you have any questions.
Best wishes to our 5th and 8th Grade students who will be taking the ACRE test (Assessment of Catechesis/Religious Education) on Tuesday, February 7.
I hope to see you at the next HSA meeting Wednesday, February 8 at 8:30 am in Community Hall.
