It is important that you review each test and quiz with your child. Please sign each one,

as well as the sheet on the left side of the folder. All quizzes, tests, and folders must be

returned each week with corrections made.

Monday: Library

Tuesday: Spanish and Computers

Wednesday: Phys. Ed

Thursday: Art

Friday: Music

Religion-

There will be a quiz after each chapter. After three chapters, there will be a unit test. Quizzes and tests will be taken from notes and the textbook. Projects and activities will be assigned during each chapter.

Spelling-

The lesson will be introduced on Friday and the assigned pages will be due on Wednesday. The test will be that Friday and the new lesson will be introduced.

Math-

We start each day in our math journal with a problem of the day to stimulate critical thinking.

There are generally fifteen short sections in a chapter. We will review and then a test will be given. Occasionally, we will have a project or graded assignment.

Literature-

There is a test after every story read. Tests consist of story vocabulary, comprehension, and essay. 

AR books and tests are to be completed each trimester at the student’s own pace-READ, READ, READ!

There will be a requirement of three AR books, but always remember the more the better!

Two will be assigned and the rest will be free choice, as long as they are approved. There will be two assigned AR books due with an AR test and book report/project for each trimester.

Vocabulary Workshop-

We will be working on definitions, parts of speech, and pronunciations.

There will be a test will be after each unit, and then a unit mastery after three units (100 multiple choice questions).
