Homework is written on the board daily and kept up for the entire week.  

Fifth graders are responsible to write their own homework throughout the day and then check it at the end of the day against the board as they are packing.  

It is the student's responsibility to write the homework in his/her assignment pad.  

We are in fifth grade now and should be held responsible for all of their assignments and books.  

It is not the parents responsibility, nor should the parents make any excuses for a child who forgets something.  

We need to learn how to be responsible and grown up.  

Even if it means making some mistakes and dealing with the consequences along the way.
