About the Teacher

    For more than 16 years, I have been involved in the education of children grades K-5. I taught at Blessed Sacrament School in Paterson for 7 years, Bethlehem Early Learning Center in Ridgewood for 4 years and I am currently in my sixth year, as first grade teacher, at Academy of Our Lady. 

    My personal teaching philosophy is that children learn best when allowed to express themselves through their own creativity in all areas of classroom learning. As a result, children in my classroom complete many projects that incorporate inter-disciplinary skills throughout the year. The individual needs of every child are always a priority in my classroom.

    I received a B.A. degree from William Paterson University with permanent certifications as Elementary Teacher K-8, Teacher of Nursery School and Teacher of Art K-12. In addition, I have completed several workshops in the area of teaching children with learning disabilities. I live in Ridgewood with my husband and my son.
