Name: Ms. Barbara Krug
Class: Physical Education
Ms. Barbara Krug is excited to be starting her 2nd full year as the Physical Education teacher at Academy of Our Lady. As a former student of St. Catharine Interparochial school she enjoys teaching the games and sports she enjoyed as a child at the school, as well as, the many sports and games enjoyed by children of all levels. The highlight of her year is the annual Field Day where children compete in a variety of activities including the mile run, broad jump, dash and water games. The day is capped off with a 7th and 8th grade softball game and a 5th and 6th grade kickball game. Ms. Krug is looking forward to a fun filled year of soccer, football, basketball and more. She has experience teaching children of all ages and with disabilities and is currently working towards a Masters in Education for Professional Mental Health Counseling at William Paterson University. In her spare time she enjoys competing for the Garden State Roller Girls roller derby team and riding horses.
